Competition in the development of sculpture from adhesive tape
The American company “jump” (Scotch), one of the most self-adhesive tape manufacturer in the world, is organizing an unusual event in sculpting.
It is creating sculptures from transparent “tape”, its main product.
Participants in the competition can shape sculpture by the self-adhesive strips stick to the structure which will then be removed or it will serve to achieve the only form of “tape”.
In any case, it is allowed to make ten percent of the sculptures, metal wire or cardboard, to ensure its stability. Participants were also permitted to use color to give your image a bit lifeless.
At the competition, which closes 28th February, can participate only American artists. The jury will make its decision next month, and the winner will win $ 5,000 and 36 coil tape-known brand “Scotch.”
